Fr. Andrew Apostoli Co-Founder of Franciscan Friars of Renewal Will Celebrate Mass and Appear on CatholicTV Talk Show


Fr. Andrew Apostoli, C.F.R.will preside at the live, televised Mass on CatholicTV on September 9th at 9:30AM (Eastern).

He will also appear on the live CatholicTV Talk Show “This is the Day” on September 14th, to discuss the Promises of Fatima.

This is the Day airs at 10:30AM ET at CatholicTV.com and on CatholicTV. The show is rebroadcast at 7:30PM and other times during the week.

Fr. Andrew Apostoli, C.F.R. is a founding member of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, and has been active in teaching, preaching retreats and parish missions, and in giving spiritual direction. Fr. Apostoli is the Vice-Postulator for the cause for the canonization of Archbishop Fulton Sheen.

Fr. Apostoli is the author of numerous books, including “Following Mary to Jesus: Our Lady as Mother, Teacher, and Advocate”and “Walk Humbly With Your God: Simple Steps to a Virtuous Life”. In the laste fall his newest book on the miracles at Fatima will be released by Ignatius Press.

Fr. Edward Udovic, C.M. will also be interviewed on This is the Day. Fr. Udovic will discuss the documentary, “Vincent De Paul: Charity’s Saint” which he wrote and produced.

Reverend Edward R. Udovic, C.M., Ph.D., is a Vincentian priest from the Western Province (U.S.A.) of the Congregation of the Mission. Ordained in 1984, he has a Doctorate in Church History from the Catholic University of America. He has written extensively in the area of Vincentian history, and has given presentations throughout the United States and internationally on Vincentian history, spirituality, mission effectiveness, and leadership.

The documentary “Vincent De Paul: Charity’s Saint” will air on CatholicTV during the week of September 27th. St. Vincent De Paul died on September 27th, 1660. The documentary will air at the following times. Monday 11:00PM Wednesday 2:00 PM Friday 12:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 AM

The documentary will also air: Friday, October 22nd at 9:30 PM and Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00PM

Fatima Film With ‘Stunning Images’ To Be Discussed on Live CatholicTV Talk Show

On June 18th, “The 13th Day”, a film about the miraculous events of Fatima, will be discussed on the CatholicTV talk show “This is the Day”.


The 13th Day uses state-of-the-art digital effects to create stunning images of the visions and the final miracle.


Shot on location in Portugal and in the United Kingdom, the film has a cast of hundreds to re-create the scenes of the 70,000 strong crowds, with three young Portuguese actors playing the iconic roles of the Seers.


This is the Day airs at 10:30AM ET at CatholicTV.com and on CatholicTV. The show is rebroadcast at 7:30PM.


Tony Ryan will be interviewed on “This is the Day” on June 18th. Tony once worked for 13 years as a Director of Religious Education, and now works for Ignatius Press, who has partnered with 13th Day Films to distribute DVD’s of the film.


Based on the memoirs of Sister Lucia de Jesus, and thousands of independent eyewitness accounts, The 13th Day is a dramatic retelling of the experiences of three shepherd children between May and October 1917.

Tony Ryan has been the Director of Marketing & Sales for Ignatius Press since 1981. After graduating from the University of St. Thomas he worked as a volunteer for a year with the Franciscan Friars of Marytown helping run their youth programs and promote their Marian publications. Tony then became the Director of Religious Education for Our Lady of Peace Church & Shrine in Santa Clara, Calif., and he also directed the Youth Mission for the Immaculata retreat programs for young women for 13 years. CatholicTV to Air Pope’s Visit to Fatima, Former Site of ‘Miracle of the Sun’


From May 11-14, CatholicTV will air coverage of Pope Benedict’s visit to Fatima, and the surrounding areas of Portugal. Our Lady of Fatima’s feast day is on May 13th.

The Pope will visit Fatima 93 years after the “Miracle of the Sun” where tens of thousands of onlookers in Fatima witnessed the sun moving about in the sky as though it were “dancing” and radiating unusual colors. During the apparition people were asked to pray for peace and reconciliation for our world.

Two of the child visionaries of Fatima have already been beatified. They are Blessed Jacinta and Blessed Francisco Marto- poor shepherd children from Fatima.

The television schedule along with air times is listed below (all time are Eastern):

May 11 Mass in the “Terreiro do Paço” (Lisbon) 8 p.m.
May 12 Visit to the Chapel of Apparitions with vespers and rosary 8 p.m.
May 13 Mass on the Esplanade of the Shrine of Our Lady of Fátima Noon and 8 p.m.
May 14 Mass at Av. dos Aliados Square (Porto) Noon and 8 p.m.
