CatholicTV to Exhibit at Catholic Marketing Network International Trade Show

CatholicTV will exhibit at the Catholic Marketing Network International Trade Show (CMN Trade Show) in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania from August 3rd-6th.

This year’s speakers at the CMN Trade Show include Fr. Don Calloway, MIC, a priest who has shared his powerful conversion story all over the country. His amazing story includes being a drug abuser and dealer and even being deported from a foreign country before experiencing a powerful conversion and ultimately becoming a Catholic priest. .

CatholicTV is a nationally-broadcasted television network headquartered near Boston. CatholicTV streams its broadcast simultaneously, 24 hours a day at www.CatholicTV.com.

Also attending the CMN trade show will be Fr. Frank Pavone, Fr. Andrew Apostoli, CFR- cofounder of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, and Fr. Thomas Euteneuer, President of Human Life International. Talks will also be given by Catholic radio personality Al Kresta, and Catholic blogger, and author Lisa Hendey. In conjunction with the CMN, the Catholic Writers Guild gathering will take place, for more information on this session visit http://www.catholicwritersguild.org/

The Catholic Marketing Network was founded by Alan Napleton in 1996 and was formed after years of discussions between Catholic professionals involved in a wide variety of activities related to the distribution of Catholic materials. Some were owners of Catholic gift and book stores, others were involved in the publishing of Catholic books and music or producing Catholic materials such as jewelry, statuary, or art.

There was a common agreement that there was no professional organization in existence that offered the opportunity for all of these diverse entities and individuals to come together for the purpose of making others aware of their activities, exchange information, network among each other and work together towards a common goal. CMN was formed in response to this need.

A featured event at this years CMN gathering is the U.S. film premiere of : Saint Augustine presented by Ignatius Press For more information on the CMN Trade Show, visit http://guest.cvent.com/EVENTS/Info/Summary.aspx?e=f535224e-fe19-40fe-b830-afaa9d736736

Catholic Author Will Discuss Ministry and His Brush With Death on CatholicTV Talk Show

On November 13th, Sean McVeigh the author of “I’ve Got to Change” will appear on the CatholicTV talk show “This is the Day”. “I’ve Got to Change” is a true story of a near-death experience, recovery, conversion, and the journey to God from a young person’s perspective. Sean McVeigh is a speaker and an author who gives talks about subjects such as the Eucharist, discerning God’s will, chastity, relationships, marriage, and more.

Below is an excerpt from Sean’s book, “I’ve Got to Change”. “We were dangerously close to the intersection when he finally locked up the brakes. The tires screamed! As for me in my little world, everything seemed to become dead silent and we started to move in slow motion. The speedometer came creeping back from the grave and could barely be seen lowering beneath 85. The last thing I remember THINKING as the car began to slide slightly to the right was, “We’re going to make it. We’ll slide right around the turn and be fine.” The last thing I remember SEEING was the stop sign flash past my head. At that moment, a loud roar of metal thunder ripped through the still night. We had smashed head-on into a tree doing at least 75 miles per hour. Just writing about it gives me the chills to this day.”

Sean McVeigh, founder of McVeigh Ministries Inc., was raised Catholic in a small rural town in Pennsylvania. He will discuss his ministries, and his story on “This is the Day”.

Sean’s interview can be seen on Friday, November 13th live at 10:30AM (EST) on CatholicTV where available (rebroadcast at 8PM). The show will also be streamed simultaneously at www.CatholicTV.com and will be available on the site’s archives starting Friday night. All videos at the website are viewable in full-screen.
