Prayers With Pope Will Kick Off Advent-Themed Programming on CatholicTV

On November 28th, CatholicTV will kick-off Advent programming with a broadcast of the first Vespers of Advent with Pope Benedict XVI from St. Peter’s Basilica.

CatholicTV’s Advent programming will include the first-ever Christmas-themed episode of its popular game show “WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge”. Other shows with special Christmas episodes will include Spotlight (the movie review show), Our Daily Bread (the cooking show), the Rosary, and much more.

Below are some of the special programs to air during the Advent and Christmas seasons:

Vespers With Pope Benedict From St. Peter’s Basilica-
November 28th at noon and 8 p.m. (Eastern Times)

Spotlight-
December 20th through January 1st-Monday at 6 p.m., Tuesday at 8 p.m., Wednesday at 4 a.m. Friday at 4:30 p.m., Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

This is the Day from Rome, Italy-
December 24th at 10:30 a.m. & 7:30 p.m., December 25th at 4:30 a.m & 6 p.m.; and December 26th at 3:30 p.m.

WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge:
Week starting December 20th: Monday at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at 5 p.m., Wednesday at 9 a.m., Thursday at 12:30 a.m., Friday at 6:30 a.m. and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Our Daily Bread:
Two weeks surrounding Christmas, Monday at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Christmas Songs By the Daughters of St. Paul:
December 24th at 2:30 a.m. and December 25th at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and during the week of December 26th during “The Call” time slot.
