How To Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul To Be Discussed With Jason Evert on Live CatholicTV Talk Show

On March 29th, Jason Evert will appear in-studio on the live CatholicTV talk show “This is the Day”.

Jason will discuss the unique book which he and his wife Crystalina co-authored-“How To Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul”.

This book was written especially for women and focuses on dating, marriage, sex, romance, and more. The book discusses among other things:
• Avoiding Missionary Dating
• Dating with Purpose
• Loving Your Spouse before You Meet Him
• Hanging Up on Hookups
• Wear Something Revealing (not just revealing your body, but revealing YOU!)—Be Modest

The book is unique because it is meant to be used as a study tool at weekly meetings with young women. The book is meant to foster discussions and to encourage friendships between women who are interested in fulfilling relationships.

An interview of Bishop Robert McManus of Worcester, Massachusetts will also appear on This is the Day. He will discuss evangelization through media. In a recent letter to the parishes of the Worcester Diocese, McManus said, “the proclamation of the Gospel is the first priority of the Catholic Church. Pope Benedict XVI has boldly asserted that the Church must proclaim Christ to all people. Indeed, the very purpose of the Church is to evangelize.”

Bishop McManus has a regular television show called “Conversation with Bishop McManus” and he has also been featured on the vocations-promoting television show “Come Follow Me” which airs on CatholicTV.

Jason Evert Says ‘Teen Sex Rates Are Dropping’ During CatholicTV Interview

On December 8th, Jason Evert, a renowned chastity speaker and author was interviewed by Father Robert Reed, Director and Kevin Nelson, Senior Producer of the CatholicTV Network live on the CatholicTV talk show “This is the Day”.

During his interview, Evert made several “eye-opening” statements about chastity, and the receptiveness of the chastity message by teens. Speaking about young people, Evert said, “They’re eating it [the chastity message] up like ants on a birthday cake because it’s not a bunch of rules so you don’t go to hell, it’s letting you be liberated so you can love for the right reasons.”

Some people “think that the kids are going to throw tomatoes at you, but “After speaking for 10 years to over a million kids, we haven’t had one disruptive audience, and we’ve been to correctional facilities and inner city schools.”

In November, “we gave a chastity talk at the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) and over 20,000 teens gave a standing ovation in response to a chastity talk.” said Evert.

“Teen sexual activity rates have been dropping consistently for the last 10-15 years. The majority of high school kids are virgins. There’s a lot of good news out there, but it’s not often portrayed in the media.”

Evert continued saying, “Chastity is not the elimination of sexual desire, it’s the perfection of it. It’s where you place love above the disordered desire to lust and use. If you really understand the church’s teachings for what they are, it’s not repressive, it’s liberating.”

“People say the culture glorifies, sex. No, culture doesn’t. It’s the Church that glorifies sex. Only in the Church’s teachings of human sexuality can they see the glory of God’s plan. The problem is not that the world is glorifying sex, the problem is that world is debasing sex so that you don’t see the full beauty of it.” said Evert during this interview.

Steve Ray, a.k.a. “Jerusalem Jones” was a Protestant for 37 years until he and his wife converted to the Catholic faith in 1994. Landry will discuss “Becoming a Real Man of God”. In these writings, Fr. Landry touches on several hot topics. Speaking of the problems of same-sex marriage, Fr. This September, CatholicTV will air Fr. Landry’s television series on John Paul II’s teachings on the Theology of the Body.

These guests can be seen on Friday, July 31st live at 10:30AM (EST) on CatholicTV where available (rebroadcast at 8PM). New Television Series Teaches Catholic Singles How to Become ‘Marriage Material’

Starting in May, we will air a new television series entitled “The Road to Cana”. This series teaches single Catholics about dating, sex, finding that special someone, etc. Leading experts such as Fr. Benedict Groeschel offer their insight into dating, marriage, and preparing for marriage.
