Congratulations to "A Living Faith" winning the 2009 Bronze Telly


Congrats to the "A Living Faith" production team on winning a Bronze Telly! Pictured with the awards at left is Bob Pascarella and Executive Producer Father Thomas Kane, C.S.P.


"A Living Faith” is an eight-hour thought provoking series of presentations and discussions of essential Roman Catholic themes taken from the new Catechism. The Sacraments, Ethics, Morality, Prayer and other major themes are brought to life by the distinguished faculty members of the Weston Jesuit School of Theology and the people who participate in open discussions. “A Living Faith” is meaningful for Catholics and people of all faiths who want to gain a better understanding of the fundamental concepts and beliefs of the Catholic Church.


The series was produced in 2008 by Weston Jesuit faculty members and Cramer Productions. ,won a 2009 Bronze Telly Award in the Religious/Spiritual category. “A Living Faith: Themes from the Catechism of the Catholic Church” features lectures by Boston College Dean Richard J. Clifford, S.J., and faculty members Kevin F. Burke, S.J.; Margaret Eletta Guider, O.S.F.; Thomas D. Stegman, S.J.; John F. Baldovin, S.J.; Peter E. Fink, S.J.; Edward V. Vacek, S.J.; Thomas J. Massaro, S.J.; and John Randall Sachs, S.J. The series ran on CatholicTV in 2008 and 2009.


Faculty member Thomas A. Kane, C.S.P., served as the series executive producer. The Telly Awards honor “the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web.”
