Liturgical Publications and CatholicTV® to Join Forces to Help Catholics Learn More About Their Local Parish and Their Catholic Faith

Liturgical Publications’ website SeekandFind.com, which helps Catholics discover more about their local parish, will be adding television programming from the CatholicTV Network onto the SeekandFind.com website, giving Catholics not only local parish information, but also television programming which inspires, entertains and educates.

Liturgical Publications (LPi) will be adding Catholic television programming to its website by utilizing the new CatholicTV widget affectionately called “CatholicTVjr.” CatholicTVjr is an ingenious and easy to use video player which can be embedded in any website free of charge. CatholicTVjr is unique in that it offers full-length episodes of CatholicTV programming. CatholicTVjr offers over 30 different television programs each with as many as 27 full episodes. The offering of so much free television programming is unprecedented. All the major national television networks offer widgets, but only CatholicTVjr offers full-length programs. More information can be found at www.CatholicTVjr.com.

Father Reed, Director of the CatholicTV Network is pleased to have the opportunity to work closely with Liturgical Publications. “Our mission at CatholicTV is to assist people at the diocesan and parish level and to encourage a more active participation in the life and mission of the Church. I have a deep respect for the established and sophisticated ways that LPi supports the local Church. A partnership between LPi and CatholicTV seems quite natural and beneficial for Catholics and those who serve them,” Reed said.

"Liturgical Publications is excited about bringing this technology to churches as part of our parish communications strategy" said Tim Potrikus, Vice President at LPi. "SeekAndFind was created to connect the community of parish and parishioner, and offering high quality Catholic content is ideal for this platform."
