Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention to Be Televised on CatholicTV

CatholicTV will air events occurring during the Knights of Columbus 128th Supreme Council Annual Meeting, from Washington, D.C. on August 3rd.

Broadcasts begin with the Concelebrated Opening Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 10:30 a.m (all times Eastern). The broadcast will continue with the Opening Session at 1 p.m. and will end with coverage of the State’s Dinner at 7:30 p.m.

To honor and recognize the contributions of the Knights of Columbus, CatholicTV will broadcast special presentations featuring the Knights and productions which the Knights have supported. These programs will include the documentaries “Men of Faith Who Made a Difference”, and “People of Life” which will be broadcasted during the day.

The convention brings together Knights from all over the nation. The annual meeting agenda includes the Opening Business session with an address by Supreme Knight Carl Anderson with a report of activities in which the Knights have been engaged in throughout the year.
After the broadcast, video from CatholicTV’s coverage of the convention will be available on demand at CatholicTV.com/Knights-of-Columbus.

Commentary will be provided by CatholicTV Network President, Father Robert Reed and Senior Producer Kevin Nelson, who will be on site at the convention. They will be joined by Knights of Columbus Director of Public Relations, Peter Sonski.
