A Catholic Bishop Who Speaks Polish, Loves Hockey, and Practices Law? CatholicTV Will Air Installation Mass of Thomas Paprocki

On June 22nd, CatholicTV will air the installation Mass of Bishop Thomas Paprocki as the new bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois.

Bishop Paprocki is a true “renaissance man” who speaks Italian, Spanish, Polish, English, and reads Latin. Bishop Paprocki is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University in Chicago. He also volunteers as President/Founder of Chicago Legal Clinic, which provides legal assistance to the poor. Bishop Paprocki will lead a diocese comprised of just under 150,000 Catholics and 131 parishes in Central Illinois.

Bishop Paprocki’s Installation Mass will take place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield, Illinois on June 22nd. It will air at CatholicTV.com and on CatholicTV at 8PM (Eastern).

Bishop Paprocki’s Installation Mass will also be added to the CatholicTV.com archives.
