The office in charge of organizing papal liturgies said June 17 that at least 35 archbishops would receive a Pallium in 2010. Pope Benedict XVI will impose the Pallium on new metropolitan archbishops at St. Peter’s Basilica. This will take place at the Mass of the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, Apostles. The Pallium consists of woolen bands which will be placed around the necks of new archbishops as a symbol of their authority and responsibility.
CatholicTV streams its broadcast 24 hours per day at CatholicTV.com. Site visitors need only click on “Watch CatholicTV Live”.
