On June 29th, CatholicTV.com will stream the annual Pallium Mass from the Vatican. The Pallium Mass will also air on CatholicTV. At this Mass, three Americans will receive the Pallium including Archbishops Jerome E. Listecki of Milwaukee, Dennis M. Schnurr of Cincinnati, and Thomas G. Wenski of Miami.

On June 29th, The Pallium Mass will stream at CatholicTV.com and on CatholicTV at noon Eastern and will rebroadcast at 8PM.

On June 1st, CatholicTV.com also aired the mass of Miami’s new Archbishop Thomas Wenski. His installation is now viewable in the CatholicTV.com archives.

Footage of other major events in the American Catholic Church and the Vatican can be viewed at http://www.CatholicTV.com/catholic-television.aspx and http://www.CatholicTV.com/sunday-mass.aspx. CatholicTV is a non-profit and all videos at CatholicTV.com are viewable without charge or obligation.

The office in charge of organizing papal liturgies said June 17 that at least 35 archbishops would receive a Pallium in 2010. Pope Benedict XVI will impose the Pallium on new metropolitan archbishops at St. Peter’s Basilica. This will take place at the Mass of the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, Apostles. The Pallium consists of woolen bands which will be placed around the necks of new archbishops as a symbol of their authority and responsibility.

CatholicTV streams its broadcast 24 hours per day at CatholicTV.com. Site visitors need only click on “Watch CatholicTV Live”.
